Restaurants in Cape Town are generally better than average with fresh seafood featuring heavily and decent wines produced nearby. Meat lovers must try the organic Karoo lamb which has a good reputation as well as all sorts of exotic meat not normally found on European dining tables such as ostrich and alligator.
