As Rustenburg was originally a frontier town for bushveld prospectors, the great outdoors has always played a large part in the life of the settlement. Hunters and explorers would venture from here into the wild interior and similarly today there are many Rustenburg activities that allow visitors to get a taste of the African plain. And within 30kms of town there are more than 20 nature reserves with space for tents and caravans as well as countless lodges.
There really are ample things to do in Rustenburg with activities such as sailing, sightseeing, clay pigeon shooting, combat school, go-karting, oval racing plus fine dining, shopping and decent pubs.
