Pattaya nightlife begins early and many tourists dine between 20:00 and 22:00 because the resort town’s fast evening pace doesn’t really start until about 22:00. International Walking Street is the nightlife entertainment scene’s booming centre. Everyone who stays in Pattaya for a few days will most likely experience the scene here, and due to Beach Road’s traffic congestion it is often faster to cover the last 100-metre distance on foot. Walking Street, positioned at Beach Road’s southern end is a neon-clad area crammed with restaurants and bars. Many seafood restaurants are being constructed on stilts over the ocean.

In addition, numerous go go venues spill out onto Beach road’s lanes, largely contributing to the vibrant ambience and enjoyable people watching. Whether it is a substantial seafood meal you wish, or just want to observe the people that pass by while sitting back in a bar overlooking the moving crowds, or get a cold beer in a small pub, you’re likely to see an international crowd in a safe and welcoming environment.
Pattaya features many other zones which are just as vibrant after sunset. Both Sois 7 and 8 house numerous beer bars and live entertainment venues. Located on South Pattaya Road, Hollywood disco is extremely popular as this establishment is within close proximity of Walking Street.
For lady-boy performances, Alcazar and Tiffany offer various glamorous shows during the evenings and are especially favoured with far-Eastern holidaymakers. Gay people will feel most comfortable when visiting Pattayaland, but in this area are also many girly bars and decent Western-style restaurants. On Beach road’s southern end there’s a mall, which houses a Ripley’s Believe it or Not attraction, along with an entertainment centre featuring a movie theatre and roller-coaster simulator.

However, Walking Street’s bustle will tempt most tourists for at least one night stepping out.
