Shopping in Nelspruit may not possess the glitz and glam that are so evident in other South African cities, but there’s plenty here to satisfy those with a need to splash some cash. Some even come from Johannesburg to shop in Nelspruit as it is home to some great independent shops and farm stalls around Lowveld. There is also a couple of modern malls and some smaller Nelspruit shopping centres around the White River Road area. Nelspruit’s Riverside Mall is the most comprehensive shopping centre in the city. Just by the Lowveld Botanical Gardens, this classy Nelspruit mall is home to around 140 shops, 15 eateries, a cinema and a games arcade. Shops here include national chains, boutiques, African handicraft stores, banks, bookshops and everything in between.

As the newest shopping centre in Nelspruit, I’Langa is well equipped with everything the modern shopper could desire. The malls conbines convenience shopping, restaurants, home decor stores and trusted fashion brands. There are also plenty of South African favourites and independent stands.
Casterbridge Farm Shopping Centre

The Casterbridge Farm Shopping Centre is only small but has some interesting shops and stalls. The biggest attraction here is the White River Gallery which exhibits work from contemporary South African artists in a energy-efficient environment.

The Grove Centre is a small Nelspruit shopping centre with a range of stores, restaurants and an exhibition centre.
Village Shopping Mall
Corner Ehmke and Murray Streets Nelspruit
This small Nelspruit mall is home to a handle of local and independent shops. It’s not the place to go if you want to shop til you drop but it’s a good place for relaxed browsing.

Flea markets in Nelspruit
Nelspruit flea markets are a great place to pick up cut-price clothing, antiques, toys, arts and crafts and electrical goods. You can find flea markets in Nelspruit at Hall’s Gateway on Saturday and Sunday, the Promenade Centre on Saturday and Prorom Square on Friday.
